About materials and the use of our products

The Otium collection is resistant to winter temperatures. Our pots are double-walled: the air layer between both walls protects your plant against frost and heat. Our pots are unbreakable and colourfast.

You can easily clean our Otium pots with a soft cloth and a little soap. If you regularly put our white pots in direct sunlight, they will keep their beautiful white colour better.

Our pots are made from virgin polyethylene and recycled cork.

Complaints & warranty

We strive to deliver the highest possible quality with regard to our products. In the unlikely event that you have a complaint, we will gladly look for a suitable solution together with you. We will investigate your complaint. We will contact you if we need any more information. After the investigation into your complaint, we will inform you in writing of the findings of the investigation, whether your complaint has been upheld or rejected and the reasons for this.

You can submit a complaint via this link, or send an e-mail to sales@otium-design.com. Mention a clear description of your complaint and add the proof of purchase and/or a photo of the product.

We care about our products and logically will do our best to deliver them to you in top condition. Nonetheless, a product might still break during transport or something else might happen that allows you to make a claim under warranty. From a legal point of view, you are obliged to report this to us within two months of discovering the defect. If the defect falls under the warranty, we will arrange for repair or replacement free of charge.

We provide a 2-year warranty on most of our products. For our light products, this is often 2 years and our pure collection has a 10-year warranty! You can find this information for every product under each product’s specification section.

Sustainability & parts

Quality is very important to us and plastic lasts a very long time. That means you can enjoy your Otium pot for a long time. Plastic has many advantages, which is why our pots will not breaking when it is freezing outdoors. The material is lightweight and they will not break at low temperatures.

Ordering & payment

You can of course also buy our products offline in a physical store of one of our sales partners.

After you have placed an order, you cannot change or cancel it yourself. It depends on the processing status of your order at that time. If you have not yet received a shipping confirmation, we may still be able to cancel or change your order. It is best to contact us by phone for this: +32 9 280 78 80. If the order has already been shipped, sadly it can no longer be changed.

You can place the products in your shopping cart by clicking on the button with the text ‘Add to cart’. The item has now been added to your shopping cart. You can now continue shopping. The items you have added will remain in your shopping cart. Are you ready to order? Click on ‘Order’ to complete your order. Then go through the steps: Details, Shipping, Payment and Verification. After completing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Please contact us here, stating the order number and your address details. Then we can look up the order in our system and we will send you a copy of the invoice by e-mail as soon as possible.

Shipping, delivery and returns

Your order may be delivered in two or more separate boxes. If this is the case, you will receive a track & trace link for each box by e-mail. If you have not received the links, please click here to contact us.

Yes, you can! When your order has left our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail from us with a track & trace link. You can use that link to track your order.

Your order will be delivered by our carrier to your home. You can indicate to which address your order can be delivered when ordering.

Your order will be delivered as soon as possible by our carrier. You cannot choose a delivery date.

You can keep an eye on the status of your order yourself by using the track & trace link provided by us. If you have any questions, click here to contact us.

We would like to ask you to report this by clicking here to contact us. In order to help you quickly, we require the following information:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the damage
  • Which product(s) are concerned
  • What quantities of those product(s)
  • Pictures of the damaged product(s)
  1. Pack the items unused, preferably in the original packaging.
  2. SSend an email to sales@otium-design.com to easily return your order.

If the products have been charged to you, you will be refunded the full order amount including shipping costs. If you return part of the order, only the amount of that product excluding the shipping costs will be refunded.

If the product is damaged or the packaging is more damaged than is necessary to try the product, we can pass on this depreciation of the product to you. So treat the product with care and make sure that it is well packaged when returning.

We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days after registration of your return, provided the product has already been returned in good order.

You should request a return label from sales@otium-design.com. We will be able to help you more quickly if you can include the following details:

  • order number
  • which product(s)
  • what quantities

You have 30 days to return the order after receiving it!
